Qualified Accountant (Part-Time 25 hours per week) is required for our growing practice.
The successful candidate will need practice experience (Minimum 2 years) and would ideally be qualified, however soon to be qualified or over 5 years practice experience would also suffice.
Main Duties:
- Preparation of financial statements for sole traders and partnerships
- Preparation of financial statements for limited companies (Audit exempt)
- Processing Corporate and Personal tax returns
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and other balance sheet control accounts
Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified Accountant or soon to be Qualified (CPA/ACCA/ACA)
- 2 years practice experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and responsible, with ability to work on own initiative and to deliver on tight deadlines
- Experience with CCH Accounts Production/CCH Central or similar accounting package
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word etc.
